LIMITED (10 YEAR) WARRANTY
"Vernier Watches" warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the
movement of your watch will be free from original defects in the workmanship and
material for ten years from the date of purchase. If defective, the movement
will be adjusted, repaired or replaced and if necessary, the entire watch will
be replaced with one of the equal or greater value at our option. This warranty
does not apply to the bracelet, case, crystal or battery. The above remedy is
exclusive. "Vernier Watches" shall not be liable for any incidental or
consequential damages. The warranty does not extend to any parts of your watch
that have been subjected to misuse or accident. Nor does it cover any watch that
has been tampered with, altered or repaired other than by "Vernier Watches"
service centers, other than battery replacement. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, as this limitation may not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights which may very from state-to-state. During this warranty
period there is no charge for the repair or replacement of your watch movement.
However, there is a $9.95 charge for handling. For repairs or replacement of
parts not covered by this warranty or after the warranty expires, you will be
notified of the cost of repairs. Neither the retailer nor any other company
involved in the sale or promotion of this product is a co-warrantor of this
manufacturer's warranty.
Trapped moisture may rust the delicate moving mechanisms in a fine watch.
Many watches are "protected against water". But as defined by FTC regulations,
only "water resistant" watches may be safely submerged in water. If your watch
is "water resistant", the words "water resistant" will be engraved on the back
of the case. Water resistant watches will remain that way only as long as the
crystal and crown remain intact.
REPLACING YOUR BATTERY
A battery-powered watch may stop or lose time because it needs a new battery.
For battery replacement, it is best to take your watch to an experienced
jeweler. Make sure that the proper battery is used when the battery is replaced.
Insertion of an incorrect battery may damage your watch. Such damage is not
covered by your warranty.
To obtain service, pack your watch carefully and send via insured parcel post
